Push email - Sky -> Android

Bit of a dumbo question really. Got my HTC Desire working nicely with Sky email (using IMAP, pop is turned off) but with having always to fetch the mail. Looked at the settings on Sky email with the options for pushing emails and the option there is I guess the forwarding address. Unfortunately, my HTC email address is the same as my Sky address and therefore, I cannot configure it.

Am I missing something here?

Using two on the htc, the built in one that comes with the phone and googlemail that I have been trying to push to.
