Push Email w/o Gmail?

I have no idea what I did all I know is in the end I have my regular verizon/yahoo acct and a gmail acct and it all comes to the phone without having to retrieve it, took me a minute to find out how to delete the mail off the phone without deleting it off the server, but I did it.
First smart phone, so far so good.

Hotmail, however, offers this feature for Free

Options > Forward Email to Another Email

It even offers the option to keep a message on the server.

I'm pretty sure the free version restricts where the email can be forwarded. It won't let me forward to gmail.

That worked perfect. Great app so far but yet very limiting. Cant put a multiple signature line, which sucks. Also, can not do a multipe email delete that I can see anyway.
i believe you are correct on the multiple deletes. I though i had a multline sig though.

Yeah I got through the signup process and then saw that I would have to be sending international TXT messages for each email account that I set up.

No Thanks. Not sure what that will end up costing me.
there was no txt message involved?

In order to set up an email account via Seven, they require that you send them an SMS in order to verify some of their accounting. And it said that it was to the "Island of Man" or something like that.

This is what it says:

IMPORTANT

Use of this software includes sending an SMS message to us at time of installation and for each email account you register. This is for purposes of testing the reporting functionality.

The number is +447624802625, located on the Isle of Man. For most people, this will be an international SMS leading to a charge on your bill. Others may not have SMS messaging in their plan. Please refer questions regarding service plans and expenses to your network operator.

By downloading and installing the software you acknowledge responsibility for any charges incurred while using this service.

yes today i did narrow down my battery life to this :(

same as you i really like it too but i cant use it with bad battery. hopefully they can get that fixed because its the only app like it that i have seen

Found a slight workaround for seven beta's 100%awake bug. Put 7 in pause (main menu) reboot - then unpause - it will then let your phone sleep - an inelegant solution, but I do like getting push

Hey

im embarrassed to even ask but I am a total newbie, in the gmail app, is there a way to view my sent mail? Ive tried so many different things but the only way I can see it is if I search for something then it searches my sent mail, but it wont let me just view it?

any ideas?

since you were so good with the previous question..

is there a way (on the phone or an app) that will allow me to quickly switch from normal (ringer) mode to vibrate?

Thanks again for above, and for this one..

[edit]
for get that i found it... by pressing the decrease volume button you can get to both silent and vibrate (all my previous phones had vibrate before silent so I assumed there was nothing passed it)
