Help Push notifications slow for Gmail/Facebook after Gingerbread

Hey all,

Ever since upgrading to 2.3 from the HTC website, it seems that my push notifications for both Gmail and Facebook are extremely slow. Other apps work just fine (Whatsapp etc.).

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am also getting the same issue, I find that I have to keep opening the email box to receive them, I have checked the settings and it says that it is set to Push.
Has anyone found a solution yet?

Try deleting Gmail cache?
Only other thing I can think of is factory reset, but nobody wants to do that.
