Help Puts "00151" in front of each call

Lurker
Cannot find a solution. Its only calls made from the contact list, or even manually dialing a number if it is in the contact list. #bal type #s do not have the issue and neither does any # not in the contact list.

Tech support been on phone for hour and 5 minutes. Anyone seen this issue yet?

do you contqcts numbers have the area code in it like say (xxx)xxx-xxxx instead of xxx-xxxx???

Maybe your SIM card has something to do with it? Have you tried to turn it from the default of 'global mode' to CDMA only? I don't know if this will fix it but unless you are traveling out of the country it won't matter.

It might be the sim card. I have tried every other setting. I might try swapping out my sim tomorrow. No solutions yet from Verizon. I still love the phone.

I read somewhere that it is a "known issue" that seems to affect quite a few phones. It does have something to do with the SIM card. And, I'm not sure there is a work-around, but a fix is in the works.

Did I see this on this board? Or XDA? I only read two android forums.

Edit: It is talked about on this board, in this thread. Has something to do with our home calling area? Weird.

I was playing around with my buddies inc2 and what i did was go into settings open assisted dialing and change national number length to 7. And try it and let me know.

Whether I have assited dialing enabled or not it won't let me change the national number length, its grayed out >.<

Edit: never mind. I'm a ****. Press menu, then edit. Apparently I need my hand held step by step :P
