Root Putting CM7 on my triumph

I've been doing a little research and have decided that I would like to get CM7 on my Triumph...but I'm not sure where to start. I'm new to rooting and and the Triumph. Any help on how to get it?

Just take your time, and it will all come out well, don't miss the gapps, most mistakes are made there or not clearing data, cashe, ect...

It won't change your data speeds. It uses the same radio code as the stock ROM and because of that it won't effect data speeds or signal quality (for calls as well as data).
