Root Puzzling behavior after setting up a2sd

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I'm hoping that someone has the knowledge to help me with a problem I'm having after setting up a2sd. Akazabam has been a huge help getting me all set up. Here's some background info:

ROM: Myn's Warm 2.2 rls5
Kernel: Netarchy-Toastmod-4.3.2-cfs-nosbc-havs-more
SD card: 16gb class 10 Patriot LX

I set up the ext 3 partition on the card with 768mb and moved davlik to the card as well.

In a nutshell, I either reached a limit with # of apps (started seeing probs at 95 apps) or total mb of apps installed. Now when I try to install a new app or even update a current one, my evo reboots to the Warm 2.2 boot up animation. According to Quick System Info, I have a total of 686mb of storage and 258mb free in a2sd storage, however after deleting a couple apps, I noticed that the free space did not increase. I checked with 3 different apps (titanium backup, apps 2 sd, and quick system info to make sure the app was no longer present.

I'm at a loss at this point. If anyone can point me in a direction as to what I should check, I can post it here. I'm not a very savvy linux person, but I do know a few basic commands. I do have adb shell set up on my PC if that helps. Oh, as for adb shell, running a2sd check says that programs are running from SD, private programs are running from SD, davlik is running from SD, swap starts, and zipalign is running at boot.

Thanks!

I was also wondering about this last night. Before doing the a2sd reinstall, I moved as many apps to internal storage as I could and then uninstalled the rest that were residing on my SD card. After setting up a2sd, I "restored" the programs I had to uninstall using Titanium Backup. Would "restoring" apps this way have any effect on the problems I'm now having? What if I were to go back (using a nandroid backup) and reinstall all the apps via the market instead of through Titanium Backup?

madflasher,

Do you know if I can still move davlik back to internal at this stage or would I need to go back and do the entire a2sd install process again first?

you should be able to do it now, with that command...then check it with this
/system/bin/a2sd check

It's definitely worth a try. Do you believe this will fix my problem?

*Update*
I ran the nocache command and verified with a2sd check that davlik is running from internal storage. I did see a bunch of "can't move" messages in the terminal, but low and behold, I appear to be able to install apps again! Thanks for the help madflasher!

One more question for you. In that guide you forwarded to me, it mentioned not to use apps like titanium backup to restore apps. I did just that after installing a2sd the first time. Do you think I'll run into problems in the future because of this?

*another update*
I ran into some problems after moving davlik. My virtual keyboard stopped working, so I rebooted and after boot up, all of my app icons were the default android icon. The icons were broken links and none of my apps would launch. I'm going to start from scratch again and load my nandroid backup. I see that some people do have success running davlik from the SD card, but I may try it your way. The main thing I don't like is how much it takes up in internal mem.
