Hi,
I am having Dell Latitude 610 laptop. It is unable to detect my LG Optimus one P500 cell.

Need your urgent help.

Welcome to the forums.

Be sure to download and install the LG drivers for your operating system, akshay_lg (Windows 7? Vista? ..etc).

Hi there,
I'm a noob and my LG is my first 'proper' smartphone so bear with me. I've just had issues transferring files to/from my laptop via Bluetooth (it's a HP running Win 7 but I don't think that's the issue). I would only be doing file transfer via BT very rarely and just wanted to see if it was possible.

Basically I could 'pair' the phone and the computer but I couldn't 'connect'. Is this the same problem you had?

Anyway, I downloaded the bluetooth file transfer app and this didn't work either.

Finally I downloaded OBEX Commander - a small freeware program for the pc. With this installed and set to 'object push', I was able to connect to the phone and transfer the files.

Hope this helps, and if anyone knows how to fix the original problem I had more elegantly, please chip in.

For reference, I'm using a rooted LG P500 with the standard ROM and V10a firmware.

After some further playing, all I had to do was right click-properties on my device in windows and then in the services tab check the OBEX button (and whatever else you want) and then everything works fine.
