You can't. Unless you're running CyanogenMod 10 by hroark.

Practically the same thing just a little quicker, but when someone else puts their grubby little hands on it (my kids) all of a sudden you're bricked lol.

I meant if your stuck in bootlop or the system wont start buts its able to boot up ? Because theirs no point of a backup if you cant even go into cwm at phone start up

Unbrick using Sammyz guide, root, use the lte2 app to install and boot into recovery

i am working on a way to allow us to get into recovery from a rooted stock or mini version by using the cm10 key combo to boot into cwm. I found the key combo on cm10 and have gotten it to partially work on stock but not to the point that i want it to be.

Dont know if this is known but on the AOKP ROM with phone shut off. At same time hold power an volume down it will boot in to recovery ive done it many times in the past /i was in a bootloop\ when i stumbled on it while trying to hard reset my phone

On the stock ROM with the 2ndinit recovery, just hit vol. Up at the second lg logo, it seems the recovery app is active at boot.

Im trying it with no luck on stock ver D any more advice i do have 2ndinit recovery widgit installed?
