Root [Q] Nandroid restore to a resized ext partition

A question about restoring a Nandroid backup.

I'm currently trying a Desire Z HD ROM, but may decide to switch back to baadnwz's HD ROM which I was using prior to the 'Z' ROM.

When I performed a backup of my baadnwz set up I had a 512mb ext partition, but I've since resized it to just over 1gb. Is the resize going to effect the restore, or will it simply restore to the new size ext partition?

It will restore the,data into whatever size ext you restore it too, providing its big enough
