I ordered the wireless charging coil for the LG G3 through Ali Express and received it today. I installed it and found that it did not work with either of my wireless charging pads.
What charger are you using? It seems that the G3 is picky with chargers.I ordered the wireless charging coil for the LG G3 through Ali Express and received it today. I installed it and found that it did not work with either of my wireless charging pads.
Amazon prime just got a charging sticker in stock. My friend bought one and he says it works perfect with his Tmobile and official LG G3 base. Ordered it and got it in 2 days. No having to wait 30 days to ship from China. Just look up LG G3 wireless charging attachment on Amazon.
Nice...is it this one?

$19.99 seems kinda steep to me. I'd almost want to pay an extra $10-17 to get a complete cover replacement.

That's what I ended up doing, getting the whole back plate. It works when the phone is placed in exactly the right spot, otherwise it tells me it's not charging fast enough.
That may have to do with the charger. I have two chargers, and one requires precise placement, and the other I can put on as sloppily as I want and it works perfectly.

Yup that's the one. For me the phone is already big so a bulky case would adds to the weight. I'd get a sore arm from reading manga too longs. So I'd buy this and a new back plate cover that I like.

What I posted was just a replacement of the oem, NFC only, backcover.

Exactly, Backs with the coil already, are just starting to trickle into E-bay(possibly knock-offs). So I figure a few weeks before they hit Amazon. Price on back-with coil look to be about 30$
Although I'm impatient and I could have this Friday
Looking at the ad again. The one thing that makes me nervous is it doesn't explicitly say NCF (although it has the pins)
I got burned on a "circle case with Qi" that ended up not actually having Qi already![]()

The Verizon G3 apparently has NFC already. Upon removing the back cover you can see the antenna, along with 2 of the 4 pad connection points being present. Can this sticker be applied over top of that without having to remove anything already there?
Thanks.
This sticker replaces the stock sticker.
You must remove the old sticker. Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T all have NFC already. The only thing missing is the other 2 gold pins that enables wireless charging. The Verizon G3 apparently has NFC already. It's not difficult to remove and it's not melted/fused. It's a sticker. To remove the old NFC sticker, start from the top right corner (if going by the picture, its the top left) where the 2 gold pins are. Use your fingernail, peel it up and just rip it off working all the way around. It looks like it might be somewhat difficult to remove. It appears that the plastic has been melted/fused to attach it. Did you simply use an xacto knife and cut it out?
