Rooted my prevail, not great feat for many, but a giant leap for me...
Now curiosity, has grabbed me with a fevor pitch. and I have begun to explore the root....
I would like to know if anyone out there, can help with the PREVAIL's boot anni......I JUST DONT WANT IT TO SUCK SO MUCH
But apparently Samsung in their invitie wisdom, has changed the zip to a QMG... and i need help
has anyone written a kernal yet that would allow for a zip file to be used..
Prevail users are missing out on so many things..
Might be time to use the thing has a home wifi spot,,,,for the kids
and upgrade to the htc....
hope someone out there has an idea or a link that actually works

In running CM7 and mine is a zip. I'm not even using the one that came with CM7.

All the custom roms are zips that you flash.

Bootanimation.zip is located in /system/media

Boot animation changer (bac) from market can easily change it. Though, i don't think the stock kernel supports custom bootani's (could be wrong, been too long since i had stock) most if not all custom roms have a kernel that supports it
