Root Qr codes on Alcatel one touch fierce

Has anyone successfully been able to scan a qr code with this phone? I've tried several different apps with no success.

Yes. It's a bit of a pain because the cam has no autofocus. You won't be able to scan barcodes but you can scan qr codes. I use QR Code Reader.

I thought it was just me who was being a dumbass and couldn't get it to work, I been having the same problem. I'll give QR Code Reader a try as stated above and hope it works.

I know this sounds crazy but it worked for my ascend...

Get a dollar store pocket magnifying glass. Use it to change the focal point of your phone by holding it in front of the camera while scanning codes.

Ghetto, I know, but without autofocus its your only 100% option.

Sounds kind of clumsy. I have a hard enough time trying to hold the phone steady already.

i got scanlife and I've scanned QR and barcodes, even in the middle of the night dark
