Via GSM arena, you've got the quad core with 1GB of ram.
I think all international versions of the s3 are quad core and the US variants are dual core with 2GB of ram.

Other than available kernels I don't think you'll notice much difference tbh. I'm on the quad and it's fast amd memory hasn't been a problem yet :thumbup:

Yeah, my quad core/1GB moto g runs just as fast as my former dual 2GB s3.
Can't tell a difference in speed between the 2 tbh

That Moto G caught my eye the other day. Looks like a killer bang for the buck. Different specs than the S3 yet very comparable with its Adreno 305.

Yeah if you've got the $99 to spend on a carrier branded, or I think $199 to spend on the unlocked moto g, you can't really find a better device for that price.

I saw it for $169 on Straight Talk, but yeah, nice price for the power.

really hoping that for the 16gb model (which I doubt)
Edit: just seen it on the st site, doesn't specify 8gb or 16gb. Probably 8gb as that's what all carrier branded g's are.
If I was you, I'd pay the extra $30 or so to get the unbranded/unlocked device from Motorola.
Edit 2: just checked the Motorola site, $199 for 16gb unlocked for any GSM carrier :thumbup:
