quadrant benchmark test

Hi all just a random question but I have just done a quadrant testing and got 1693
What's yours ?
What's good and what's bad ?

It depends on what your phone is running in the background at the time and it differs drastically in a short period of time. For example I ran when I saw this post, got 1441 and ran again immediately after and got 1736.

However, I've had as high as 1850ish before but 1441 is my lowest. I average between 1675 & 1730 so what you're getting looks about right.

Custom ROMs will get higher as they've CPU tweaks/overclock.

I got 1986 on a CM7 nightly build, 2541 when overclocked to 1.5GHz.

How accurate is this test? People seem to debate it every time it comes up.

Different benchmarks test different ways by all accounts. My girlfriends Orange San Francisco compares differently against various handsets dependant on the benchmark test being used.

My general thoughts on the matter are if your handset runs fine for whatever you need it for, benchmark score is irrelevant.
