Quadrant Question

As you know many of us have rooted our Fascinates & applied the lag fix patch. This has caused our Quadrant scores to increase dramtically. I read recently that Quadrant can be fooled into providing fake scores. This was recently brought to light by Cyanogen.

So my question is; Are we going through all this trouble for nothing? Does the patch fool Quadrant or is the fix real?

They even say the "hack" boosts performance, but it may not be reflected accurately with Quadrant. So even if Quadrant is reporting inflated numbers, it still seems like the lag fix is a real fix.

Well yes and no. My quadrant score jumped into the 2200's. So that looks great but I must be honest when I say I can't really tell what else it does. Nothing else is that much snappier.
