I have a prevail right now and am looking for something better. This looks like it. I did go on Sprints website to look at their version and it seems as though alot of people are not happy with this phone. It seems to have not greatest reviews Id hope for. I wanted to know if people who have their phones could you post here if you like it, or have had any problems.

I own the boost mobile version. I am creating a thread with the videos I made for the phone. I did own the prevail at one time and I was very unhappy with it. Personally.......I like the Warp better BUT the Marquee is also a really nice phone.

I love the phone, myself. It might not have the luxury of a dual core, but it runs surprisingly smooth. The screen's display is one of its high points, for me. Clear, and the colors are great. The reviews I've read about being able to see the screen, even in direct sunlight, were spot-on. Reception is fine, but that, of course, depends on your coverage area. I live in NW Indiana, and I sit at about 3 bars (-90ish dBm) and 3G is pretty consistent. Battery life has not been a problem for me. I have not ever had to charge it more than once a day, unless I'm constantly using data or CPU (such as web browsing), which is understandable. The phone is very durable from my experiences. Before I got my case, I accidentally dropped the phone a few times in my driveway from about 4 feet off the pavement while getting out of my vehicle, and all I have to show for it is a few knicks on the edges. The phone is still working great.

Now for the quirks...

Every once in a while, seems to be while in a call, the phone app will lose all responsiveness, the voice call will cut out, and the phone will reboot. I've had this happen only a select few times, and I've just grown to live with it. This has actually been happening less now than it was when I purchased the phone. It's not often, and the phone app works fine after the reboot, but it's definitely worth mentioning.

The touchscreen can sometimes, albeit rarely, be a bit..um..unresponsive? I will go to hit my application drawer, phone app, SMS app, etc, but the first touch doesn't always register, and I have to re-select the app/icon. I've played with it, and it seems that it only happens when I very lightly touch the screen. The "tick" will sound, implying to me the touch was received, but no effect on screen. Again, not a big deal to me, and it rarely happens, but it could be a deal breaker for others.

One nice thing I would like to point out, is that Sprint didn't load this phone with bloatware like my last Sprint phone. There is Sprint Wallet, SprintZone, and Sprint ID. I've completely uninstalled Sprint Wallet with no problems. I've left SprintZone and Sprint ID installed, but frozen, just in case the system doesn't like it. (All done with Ti Backup) The only thing I've noticed is that the "ID" app on the stock launcher's dockbar will no longer work, and gives me the message "Sprint ID is not installed". Who wants to use Sprint ID, anyways? lol
I use Go Launcher myself, so I don't have to look at that ugly ID icon.
Another thing I would like to point out, while I'm talking about launchers, is the stock launcher does not allow you to rename icons/apps on the homescreen. That was a bit frustrating for me, as I'd rather not see a long name for an app. "Wifi settings" was a perfect example. It was a long name that I couldn't change with the default launcher, and looked very out of place. "Wifi" looks much better on my homescreen :)

Not sure what else I can say or think of at the moment..if you have any questions, shoot, and I'll try to answer.

Really you like the warp better. Hmm what is better about the warp? How much memory does the warp have?

Hmm that was something several people complained about. If Im spending that kind of money on a phone I dont want my calls to just randomly drop out. There is nothing wrong with my prevail it works awesome. I just want a bigger screen and more memory and a larger processor. I'm ready for a step up. I hate fooling around with aps2sd and such. Im not sure If I want to sink the money into this machine.

First off.....off topic HUGE Star Wars fan so nice death star :)...back on topic. They both have 3G of internal storage, 1Gz proc, etc....BUT through my own experiences, the Warp was faster and the touch screen was a lot more responsive which is an issue as stated above earlier. The battery life on the phone is TERRIBLE. When I am at work I am on my phone all night long. The Warp would last me the whole night pretty much. I would have to charge it up when I got home. The Marquee needs to be charged after 4 hrs! Now for whatever reason, the battery on the Marquee has improved by itself after a day or two, but it is still terrible. I will say this.....even though the screen is smaller it is much nicer than the Warp. The colors are bright, vivid, and show a lot of detail. The camcorder works with the LED and records 720p unlike the Warp. I have grown fonder of the Marquee since my last post in this thread, but I am still leaning towards the Warp. They are both really nice phones and either one would be an excellent choice. I would base your decision off whats more important to your needs. I don't use the front camera or record videos. I use my phone alot to browse the internet and watch youtube so thats why speed is key for me.

As you can tell I too love Star Wars. I known with a vader avatar I could trust you..lol. Thanks alot for the responses. I watched the Marquee Videos. Very helpful. I am very happy with my Prevail, I want a bigger screen and more memory speed too would be nice. Im gonna head over to the Warp threat and take alook. I like the prevail camera I think it takes good pictures considering it had no flash. Dropping calls and rebooting, short battery life and poor touch response would be a deal breaker. If the warp screen is as good as the prevails and if the warp is as reliable Im good. I just though the warp was generic.
