Quattro Home Screen Question

ahdunno

Newbie
I've searched the Quattro threads and Googled it, but I can't seem to find an answer.
Twice now, I've accidentally launched a screen management app(?). The second time, I added some screens that I want to delete. (There's a trash can visible to do it when the management is open).
The problem is, I don't know how to launch the management app again.

Anyone have info on this?

Thanks...

Found it... in the Motorola Droid Forum

I just discovered this trick today and indeed (at least with Gingerbread on a GS2) you can add and delete home screens:

Add or Remove Home Screens:
Pinch any home screen by placing your forefinger in the top corner and your thumb in the opposite bottom corner and pinch. This will give you tiles which you can now delete or add to. You can’t have more than 7 home screens but if you only have, let’s say, 4, 5 or 6 home screens, you’ll find one tile with a + sign so you can create another. After 7 screens, the add option disappears but you can delete any home screen by pulling it down the trash can icon.

Thanks holsen!

Also, not only can you add and delete screens, you can also sort them to the order you want, as well as using it as a menu to select a screen without scrolling.
Another feature... tapping the small house icon on the available screens allows you to choose which screen you want to be your "home" screen.

I just did this and have a total of 9. It won't let me add any more. I think that's the max. No biggie, if you need more than 9 screens, yo uhave far too much on your phone. :)
