QUERTY keyboard settings - TIP

If you are constantly hitting the International Keyboard icon (like i am) to the left of the comma, here's a hint to get rid of that incredibly annoying pop-up window. Modify your international settings.

HOME -> MENU -> Settings > Language & keyboard > Touch Input -> International keyboard

- With three or more languages checked (default) a popup menu will ALWAYS come up for you to select the language.
- With only two languages checked, NO POPUP will occur; it will switch between the two languages.
- With only one languages checked (or 0 languages checked), you will only see a microphone to allow voice input. However, if you frequently accidentally hit this button, the microphone dialog box will come up every time.

So if you still miss the comma often and hit this button, use the second setting; it's the only one that doesn't throw up a popup and interrupt your typing.

It's good so see somebody getting pro-active with tips for this great device, LittleAnt.

Nice. No longer have to hold down the language key when keying to get the microphone. Thanks LittleAnt.
