I need help to understand if it is possibile to share my unlimited data witha pc or with another phone...

( I have lg motion 4g metropcs )

Foxfi don't work

It try to activate hotspot... but it is not able to do it....
Only cause i havent root yet?

I've installed 770e update... Can i root now if this is the problem? :

I set a password, hotspot turn on... pc connected to it... but no data... he only charged google. and finished.
( I upgraded foxfi with pdanet)

Since you have unlimited *no throttle* data you need to change the user agent of whatever device your tethering to, to the same as the motion By using that guide ^^

Other androids and console gaming devices dont need to have anything changed but that guides for PC on FireFox I think

@ Muletto if you haven't rooted yet then do so. You need to be rooted for a tether app to work

Well I find that to be somewhat true

Before my phone was rooted I couldn't use the phones hotspot. I rooted and still couldn't. Only after I used wifi tether for the first time was I able to use it. My guess is that it has something to do with the binaries installed with the wifi tether app?
