Root Question about 1-click Lag Fix

I did the one click lag fix which gave me super user also. However I noticed today that my battery life is at half what it was before yesterday. Is this normal??

shouldnt be that bad..if you have rom manager installed flash clockworkmod recovery, boot into clockwork recovery when your battery is charged to 100%, go under advanced option and reset battery stats. this should help

Would've been wiser to skip the "lag fix" part and only use OCLF to root the phone, nothing else.

The "lag fixes" are far too-easy to install and suggested by the uneducated far too-often for the amount of risk and problems they bring upon phones.
