So my uncle called me today he has an evo flashed to run on boost
he bought from some shady guy in a parking lot
however it all appears to work quite well including the hotspot feature without using wireless tether or barnacle
It looks to be running VirusROM Anthrax RC1,
What I want to know is he stuck with that ROM or can he flash a new ROM at a later date and will it mess up his ability to operate on Boost
The only thing I know about running an EVO on boost is that it requires a process I'm not comfortable with myself but I'm not sure if the ROM itself has any real impact on that or not
Any info would be appreciated as he now has the bug and is looking to me for some guidance

and will be flashing ....something this weekend ..haven't quite decided which one to try first
