Accessories question about car chargers

i am thinking about buying a car charger for use with navigation. i found this auction on ebay,

HTC CC C200 Car Charger For HTC EVO 4G HTC HD2 Desire - eBay (item 230555050901 end time Dec-25-10 06:26:34 PST).
this charger should be able to "AC" charge my desire right? it should also be able to charge my other devices such as ipod correct?

This charger HTC c200 is able to "AC" charge your Desire because it has the "HTC pin coding".

For the iPod charging:
As I know is the "Apple pin coding" in USB cable of the iPod (iPod connector side).
So I think the c200 with the iPod cable is able to charge your ipod correct.
