Question about CM10.1, and Siyah.

I'm looking at upgrading to Cyanogenmod 10.1. Yes I know it's not "stable", but I had no problems with CM10 a few months back, even though I decided to switch to CM9. Can't remember the reason now.

Anyway....

With Siyah 6.0b5 being able to boot CM10.1, though not officially supported, can I just flash this, then CM10.1. Instead of messing around finding the offic.ial JB CWM and flashing that, and the original JB update. BEFORE flashing CM10.1. As recommended in the CM10.1 XDA thread?

Thanks in advance.

CM10 had reached the Stable release stage... CM10.1 has not. Taken from post #1, here...

This ROM is currently NOT intended for daily, stable, use and is for experienced, competent, users only. If you need a working and fully functional phone, then these Nightly's are not for you.

Flash these Nightly's at your own risk!
:ahhhhh:

Your signature shows that you are currently on ICS and the Siyah kernel 6.0beta5 cannot be installed on this, see, here... "This kernel is only for Samsung JB ROM (No ICS support anymore)".

Also, flashing CM10.1, will overwrite your current kernel.
