Root Question about CM7 stability

I just installed CM7 (latest official release 7.1.0) and really like it much more that stock.

I have some concerns about stability considering this ROM is always a work in progress. I don't use my phone often but it is really important for me to receive all incoming calls. If phone froze or somehow crashed while being in my bag or pocket I may not notice it for a while.

In that respect stock ROM (FROYO) has been 100% reliable for me. That is in one year that I owned my phone I can't recall it ever crashed or froze on me while being in the pocket.

So if we consider for the sake of argument stock ROM to be 100% reliable - how would you rate CM7 stable releases (I realize 7.1.0 hasn't been out long enough to be rated for long-term reliability)?

ANy issues i had (minor and small) were easily fixed in the CM settings from the settings menu.

CM7 7.1 is a daily driver for me. I have messed with others, but always come back because it is the best i have used.

CM7.1 is a great OS.
I depend on my phone for my job and never have had an issue with it.
