Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum, in terms of posting. Been on here many times for help for my various problems.
I have a question about restoring my phone:
It is currently Rooted, CWM and CM9 stable is flashed on it
First off CM9 is great and I would recommend. I want to delete everything off my phone and start fresh because I have a lot of space taken up by random stuff.
My main question is, i made a recovery of Gingerbread prior to flashing CM9, if i restore back to that point via CWM (clear cache and all that fun stuff) and then doing a factory restore via the settings in Gingerbread; will this brick my phone? Or is that a good way of doing it? if not how should I go about doing this?
Ultimately I'd also love to remove CWM off of my phone and get a new version, mine is very weird.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S2 I727R
