Root Question About Google Play Music

My Google Play Music app interface seems all squished together on my HTC Rezound. Almost like it's meant to be running on a tablet if that makes any sense. I was wondering if there is any fix for this.

Welcome to AF! You should be able to add some pictures now.

I can't see any display options in Play Music settings, so some pics would be handy.

You could try clearing the app cache & data (you'd lose any downloaded tracks and would need to redownload). Head to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Play Music -> Clear Cache & Data.

Has it always done it or has it only happened since an upgrade?

It was fine before, but I re-flashed my rom today and when I re-installed Play Music it happened. I tried wiping data/cache but it didn't seem to work.

Here are some pics.

Beforehand, Play music only had two columns of artists instead of 3, which makes the thumbnails small and pretty cramped together. The second picture pretty much explains itself in regards to the shuffle/repeat icons haha.

I wonder if that's a DPI setting in the ROM you're using? What ROM is it? Is there anything under tweaks/display settings which allows you to change the DPI? Probably under Display or ROM Tweaks (or similar).

Do other apps look a little funky? If no and you're on a Paranoid Android or PA based ROM, they have per app DPI tweaks so it might be that?

Potentially more of a ROM thing than a Play Music thing?

I am running PA. When I first installed it was on a 600p layout with 320 DPI. I tried switching it to 360p layout and 720p layout, as well as tweaking the DPI, but nothing seemed to work. My other apps don't seem to be doing this.

EDIT: I got it! I feel like such an idiot. I tried everything but hitting reset on the PA settings for the app. Sorry for wasting your time. I appreciate your help though! Seems like a nice community!
