Question about HTC's own popup feature for sms

Hi there, Im new to this forum so i apologise if this is in the wrong place. I have done a quick search first, but cannot find anything related to my question.

I really like the little feature that HTC's own messaging app has, where is shows a popup/widget thing on your lock screen when you receive a new sms, but im curious if its possible to make this feature compatible with Chomp SMS because its own popup feature isnt very reliable in my experience.

Ive asked on other forums and had no reply, so any help is really appreciated. Thanks, Gaz15

I'm not familiar with Chomp, but you can probably disable Chomp's notification and enable HTC's irrespective of which messaging app you actually use day to day. The only downside would be that clicking the notification would take you to the "wrong" app, but the fix for that is "don't do that, then."
