Root Question about miui

Is the any method to change the carrier name on miui? Besides the whole flashing the carrier zip. This is for 2.3 miui not ics miui.

Nope, you gotta flash extended settings.

oh, thanks. extended settings is much easier than what I read. when I asked all I could find was this

I found the name change that mantera posted to be pretty easy. I don't like flashing all that other stuff in extended settings just for a carrier name change, unless I want all that other stuff too.
