Help Question about picture organization

Is there a way to create a folder or shortcut to a folder with just a few pictures in it, without having to go into Gallery and scan through all the pictures to find a picture.

Here is what I am trying to do. I have taken pictures of my children's school class times, some programming instructions for some equipment I have and a few other things like that. I would like to be able to access those pictures from an icon on one of my desktops without having to go through the Gallery and then sliding through every picture to find them. Ideas greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Applications > My Files > DCIM > Camera

Press the Menu Key and create a folder

then Long touch on the picture and select "Move" or "Copy"

Select the polder you created and, once inside, tap "Paste (or 'Move') Here"

Is that what you were after? Let me know

With estrongs file explorer you can go to sdcard> dcim >> camera folder, long press on the image and select "create shortcut" and the shortcut will appear on your home screen. Repeat. You can then drag the shortcuts on top of each other to make a folder of image shortcuts.

If any of that is a bit intimidating, you can always plug your phone into a PC/Laptop and create some folders that way. Same principal as above, only using a PC/Laptop to do it. You can then go back to the phone and create your shortcuts to the homescreen if you wanted those.
