Root Question about pimp my beat

So when I was on C firmware (On E now) when ever I would flash pimp my beat it would reset my phone. Completely. It would remove my root and all my contacts, apps, music, etc.

Now that I am on E firmware, can I flash it without the worry of losing my stuff?

EDIT: I guess pimp my beat is down. SO but Ac!d sound mod did the same thing and I would like that also.
 
It reset your phone because it tried to boot into a normal custom recovery, which our phone doesn't have. But even if you manually flash the .zip, your phone would bootloop. Try to find the old version, called Awesome Beats. That one worked for me.
