Question about playstore and device linking

Lurker
I'm an elementary teacher and bought a tablet for my classroom. I don't like the idea of have a tablet laying around in the building (not just because of kids, for adults too) with my account linked to it in case of theft.

Can I temporarily link it to my playstore account, download apps I've purchased (with my personal tablet), and then remove my google account from the classroom tablet? Would that remove all my information? Would it still update the apps?

On a side note, I was also going to get some kindle books. Would that work the same way? Add my amazon account, download the books, then remove my amazon account?

Thanks for any info. I'm not rooted and don't want to get into sideloading.

Amazon asks for a password and you can set up Playstore to ask for one so its quite safe. It only shows like the 1st 4 didgets of your debit/credit card when you make a purchase :)

2. once you deregister your account the books will be removed from the device.

Since the update it also requires you to put in your password before you make a purchase by default.

Thanks for the info. I did try it, installed apps and removed the account, and the apps work fine. I'm guessing in a few days or something they will quit working?

I'm sorry i just remembered that only applies to paid apps that verify your account
