Question about ringtones

I haven't seen one about it yet so i figured i would make one.i can't for the life of me figure out how to pick my music as a ringtone except one song if you know how to do this for notifications too i would appreciate the knowledge.

This app allows you to select the time frame from a song in your library and save it as a ringtone :D once you do that follow the steps from the above poster to set the ringtone to specific contacts.
To use for notifications you have to put the ringtone you made in a different folder called notifications I think it's system/media/notifications someone correct me if im wrong ;)
 
I found out how to do it for individuals haven't downloaded the app yet i used power amp to set a ringtone then it showed up in my ringtones but thanks for taking the time to help me out it wasn't showing up in my ringtones unless i did it like that

Wrong not in system folder and there are notification tones and seperate ringtone folder example:

/media/audio/ringtones

/media/audio/notifications

in the internal memory of course and notification folder is for facebook or yahoo mail notifications for example and ringtones are for incoming calls.
