Root Question about rooting and Titanium Backup

According the the guide to rooting, it is recommended to freeze apps rather than uninstalling them. After freezing, can they be uninstalled or is it better to leave them on the phone?

I can unfreeze an app and use it again if I desire.

it frees up mad space if you uninstall but you risk searching for literally minutes to find them again.
