Sorry if its in the wrong section or if its been asked before
ok so I rooted my phone and removed a few of those apps that I didn't want (I checked the apps safe to remove list to make sure I didn't delete important files.)

So anyways I unrooted my phone after removing the apps and I uninstalled gingerbreak, so I was wondering, if I would ever need to return my phone for a fix or something, would I have to get those apps that I removed back on my phone? and if I do would it even be possible? (I didn't backup any of the apps I removed :/ )

also I want to know if it would be safe to do a factory reset? not that I was planning to do that but I just want to know

*note* My phone works the same as it did before the root and I didn't change any settings or anything like that during the root , just removed a few apps

I was unaware that if you didn't create a back up and you unrooted that the phone would work fine just without the apps? I would make sure you are not rooted anymore you can download root check from the market and that will tell you if you are or are not rooted...

this link should give you the info on how to get the apps back, read through and you may even find direct download links for some of the apk's you need, hope this was helpful and good luck with fixing the issue

If you need to send it in for service, yes it will need to be back in stock condition, including removed bloatware. It's rare to find a Metro store cool about rooting. LG will flat out tell you your warranty is voided because software is missing. You can put them back but since you made no backups you'll be putting in some work to do so: http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-...u-deleted-important-system-app-look-here.html

As long as you didn't delete anything detrimental you'll be fine after a factory reset, but still missing the bloatware you removed.

I used the app you mentioned and it said I didn't have root access, so Im guessing that means Its not rooted anymore
