Root Question about rooting with unrEVOked.

Hello,

I realise this may have already been covered but I have had a quick look and cannot see anything and I am also doing this covertly at work and don't have time to go through pages and pages of threads. Apologies if I have missed it.
Anyway..

The UnrEVOked process says

On the UnrEVOked main page, check the bottom line now says "Recovery image:custom" instead of "recovery image:ClockworkMod RFecovery"

Mine has completed and says recovery image:ClockworkMod RFecovery still.

Is this a problem? Can I fix it?
Thanks

thats if you are wanting to use a different recovery. you have to change this on the program before connecting the device

Short answer is it could be. If you are ptv4 erase size 40000 then you have a recovery that won't work properly.

If you're not ptv4 40k then the recovery you have will work fine.

2 ways to change. Go s-off and flash a new recovery, or load up a RUU and start again, this time with custom recovery
