Question About Shipment

I bought the Droid X on Sunday (8/1) from the store. The guy at Verizon seemed to think I'd have it within a week but online it said they were delayed until the 18th. Is it possible that they would ship phones to the store and not to my house and I'd be sitting here waiting for a phone that I could otherwise just go get from the store?

They wouldn't ship your phone to the store. If you are upgrading you could call customer service and ask if it's been shipped.
