Help Question about stock contact list ("People")

Say I have a contact with just one home phone number, no email or other entries.

When I select this contact I see 2 entries in "Action" section: "Call home 212-555-1212" and "Send message 212-555-1212"

Similarly, when I have someone with 3 phone numbers (home, mobile, work) I will have 6 entries in "Action"

Is there a way to configure it so that it doesn't show 2 entries for each phone number? I can always press and hold the entry to select action other than "Call"

I just checked my coworker phone (Droid 2 Global on Verizon) and it works exactly the way I would like.

The phone is trying to be all accommodating and brings you all the contacting options in people. I don't know of any way to have a default action in people. You can however create groups or put contacts into an existing group. When in a group you can denote a default action when you click on that group contact... such as call.. email.. text.. etc. I hope this helps you organize your contacts to your satisfaction.
