in the tutorial it says download supersu.zip from the link but all that comes out is 2 folders with random contents, nothing that has a .zip at the end, when i boot the phone up in recovery mode and try to instal zip from sd theres no zip file. can someone shed some light on this

You downloaded the part where it says "CWM installable ZIP: CWM-SuperSU-v0.96.zip"? That file shouldn't be unzipped on your computer, you should just put it on your phone and flash it through recovery.

ahh instead i rand the superboot windows exe, and now it says im rooted, should i run Supersu from recovery anyway now?
