Help Question about syncing Google contacts

Tried using a new contacts app and when I deleted the app my dialer stopped working, Back up assistant was deleted & contacts gone. I ended up doing a factory reset.

I have been a Back up Assistant user for years but my son talked me into NOT using the BA and syncing with Google instead. I downloaded my contacts from BA as a CSV file, uploaded them into Google and synced with my Dinc2. All of the contacts are there..

Problem- all contact information (phone #'s, addresses, etc) is in the Notes section. What would cause this? I definitely do not want to have to go through each contact and reenter their contact information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I got no idea, I've never exported anything from Backup Assistant either since I don't use it.

When you did the factory reset didn't your phone ask if you wanted to sync google account and BUA? You might want to do another factory reset and when you set up your phone, use BUA once just to get all your old contacts back. However, fixing all your contact info in google/gmail might take the manual method. Good luck.

You say you uploaded the contacts to Google. Did you try importing the contacts into Gmail on your phone?
