Root Question about the different roms

Ctmod is based off stock rom. froyo I believe n it has tweaks n etc,and cm7 is based off gingerbread.its regular.it don't have no tweaks I don't believe.I could be mistaken.ctmod is smoother and faster than cm7

They are all GB based. CTMod was made from stock gingerbread. CM7 is CyanogenMod code and Gingerbread. 187Mod was made from stock GB as well, but with some tweaks from CTMod and CM7.
To make CTMOD Blooddawn took the Stock ROM and dissassmbled alot if it and removed all the CIQ crap, and he removed all the bloatware stuff
CyanogenMod is built from the CyanogenMod source code plus my source code that I made to tell CyanogenMod how to work with the phone
