Help Question about the screen

I got an Invisible Shield cover installed at Best Buy. When the guy was installing it, he showed me a little blemish in the bottom of screen so that I didn't blame them for it if I saw it after the fact. I watched him through the whole process and while he tried to wash it off so I know he is not at fault, but it seems to be something wrong with the screen itself. The best way I can describe it is it looks like a little bubble that doesn't display the color behind it. It's really visible when i'm in bright light with the screen off.

Do these screens have pixels like an LCD monitor that can 'pop' or be bad pixels (although the fact that I can see it with the screen off rulls out a pixel problem I guess)? Anyone ever see one of these things on their screen?

I wish I could describe it better....

I'll probably end up doing that, but I hate to lose the $20 I spent on the shield. Plus, I'd have to unroot the phone. I'm trying to figure out what the dot is and if it's enough of a bother to go through all the hassle.

Well, it can't be too much of a bother if you didn't even notice it until someone else pointed it out to you. Is it on the actual screen in which case you could return it, or is it below the screen in the button location area? Either way, I've never seen one with that kind of imperfection.

It's on the screen itself down around where the home button is. I think the reason I never noticed it before was my old screen protector was kind of shaded and hid it a little.
