Root Question about theming rooted 596 vs. custom rom

For quite a while I was on rooted GB leaks and then rooted GB 596. Whenever I felt like trying out a new theme, I would flash the deodexer, which would put me back to stock theme, then flash the new theme.

I'm now running ApeX 2.0 RC2. If I want to try a theme, and I don't like it or want to change, how do I get back to "stock" before flashing the new theme? Or, do I need to even worry about that?

I would ask this question in the thread for APEX cause it sound like it pertaining to APEX. You might get better response from there.

I was running ApeX 2.0 RC2 when I posted that message, but now I'm trying Liberty GB v0.8, so it applies there as well. I've flashed a theme on Liberty, but now if I want to go back to stock Liberty or another Liberty theme, what's the procedure?

Are they specific to the custom ROM, or is it the same procedure for all custom ROMs?

I would say flash your backup of the stock what ever rom and you should be good, that what i used to do when i had my evo and didnt like the theme..... but i could be wrong also to since this is a x and not a evo but you can always try and see
