Question about video recording

I was recording my son boxing. I got a phone call and it disabled my video recording and went to the phone ringing. Is there a setting that can allow me to disable the phone from cutting me off if I am recording a video on my phone? Thanks...

yeah airplane mode basically turns all the radios off on the phone, so you won't have any calls or texts ringing to your phone, therefore, no problem with it being interupted.
