Ok I know theirs been a lot of questions concerning battery life, but I'm fine in that aspect, my question is on the charging side. My OG Droid would be at a full charge in 2 hrs it take 4 or 5 hrs to fully charge my Tbolt. After looking at the chargers I see that the Moto charger is 5.1v 850mA the HTC charger is 5v 1.0A would the .1v increase from the Moto charger speed up charging time on the Tbolt? :confused:
 
Volts is going to be how much is pushed out. Amp is how fast its pushed out. The HTC charger is optimized for your device/battery. If you want a more accurate reading of charges download Battery Monitor Widget from the market(free) and it will give full stats.
 
Getting a Thunderbolt on Monday :D :D :D & I'm also coming from an OG Droid.

Will all my Moto Droid chargers work OK with the Thunderbolt (I've got them scattered around at work, in 3 different cars, etc)

Thank you for the detailed info...just what I needed..maybe theirs a break-in period for the battery last full charge only took 2hrs from 30%

Enjoy it...I rooted mine right out of the box...boLTEd and getting 24 hrs off the wall :)
 
I just realized I need to bow toward New Jersey. This is painfully embarrassing. But he's right, root gives life.
