Question for those not using any type of case/cover

I never used a case on my OG Droid and the bevel around the screen was completely chipped and scratched to the point that it looked like crap so I bought a TPC case for my Bionic on launch day. I really prefer the look and feel of the phone in its natural state. For those who have been case free has your Bionic started to show similar wear or has Moto used a different finish on the Bionic that is more durable to keys and other pocket obstacles?

If you want to protect a naked phone from wear I suggest reserving a pocket exclusively for the Bionic or at the least share it with something soft like a wallet.

I have had the phone since launch day. I've gone back and forth between using a case and not using one but I almost always keep the phone in my pocket either way. I put the phone in my front pocket with the screen facing my leg and my wallet behind it. So far the phone's condition is pristine.

I reserve my right front pants pocket for my Bionic. If wearing a shirt with a pocket I reserve that pocket for my Bionic.

I prefer the shirt pocket location.

I got the Bionic a few minutes after it went on sale on release day. It looks exactly as it did when I left the store.

I did buy an insurance policy ... just in case ... that was new for me.

I prefer the "naked" look as well, but I've been burned once or twice, so I have the verizon shell holster and a zagg screen protector. I'll keep it like this for a year or so.

Doesn't it just fall out when you bend over or what not? I reserve my right front pocket for my phone only. I either have a tpu case on I bought for 3 bucks on ebay, or the case from the shell holster combo when Im using the extended battery. I did just order the new tpu case released for the ext battery though.

I decided to get an Otterbox Commuter a couple weeks after launch. Used it for a few weeks but it was just so damn bulky. I had my OG Droid for nearly 2 years and there's maybe 2 scratches around the bezel. Never used a case for it. I took off the Commuter, I have no worries about the build quality (plus I didn't like the slick back of the case vs. the phone naked. Have insurance for it as well.
