Help Question: How to get custom sounds for notifications?

I've moved from a Nokia E71x to the Atrix...and man am I loving this phone!

Anyway - I am trying to apply a custom sound (mp3, really short) to my notifications. Any ideas?

This app is the best!!! I put it on every android device I get my hands on:

"Ringdroid"

It's in the android market Making your custom sound will be extremely easy!

save your notification tone on your sd card or phone somewhere.

goto 'settings' then 'files' and find your file.
open menu and 'select multiple' then 'move'
browse to internal > media>audio>notification
then hit move to move your file to new location

now go back to settings>sound>notifications

your file should be an option to select. I just did this with a recording of cricket sounds I made outside my door.
