Root Question: How to move Dalvik to Cache or to SD-ext

I can't get this to work. After much frustration, I can't figure this out.

I've tried Icarus, I've tried CM7, I've tried CM6.

I can't figure it out.

Can someone explain to me how to move my Dalvik-Cache to my Cache or SD-ext?

Please and thank you.

I would really like to free up that extra RAM on my phone, but I am at an impasse that is driving me furious.

PLEASE HELP ME!

I have not heard of anyone doing it on CM6/CM7, only on icarus but i may be mistaken.

I tried this on Icarus, and the terminal told me a2sd didn't exist.

So I am clueless. Thx anyway.

Can anyone else offer some imput? Playfulgod? Isaac? Anyone?

Speaking of which, I just tried but to no avail. Same results.

-Sigh- Testing on Icarus... I don't even use Icarus, I was just trying to get some ground to stand on.

Meh, I'm bout to just say screw it, and just buy the new GX2. At least I won't have to worry about this shit with that beast.
