Root Question on backups

If I backup my MIUI then install the new gummy, would I be able to just restore my MIUI backup if I have issues since I would still be in 4.0.3. I know crap happens and all of this is generally untested, by in theory, would this work?

Yeah. I nandroid back and forth all the time. You can even go back to normal GB ROMs; no wipes needed. Nandroid takes care of that. Just go to Restore -> pick backup, let it do its thing, then reboot in. Same if you want to go back

Both of these ROMs have their positives and negatives. I was hoping to have a "mullet OS". Business up front (gummy) party in the back (MIUI). At least until one jumps out from the other. SD card space and speed is no issue on the DX. Just another reason I STILL love this thing.
