question on browser home.

I did a search on here and saw that some people had some similar questions. Heres my dilema, when i am on a web page and i decided to set it as home page i open menu=more=settings=set home page. I set the one thats in the title but when i save it and close it all out i go back on the browser and it is just the google search screen. I am nt sure if i am missing something here. thanks.

Long press the url in question, then choose "copy link" do what you did before but delete the google url and then long press and add the one you want.

thanks thrifty, now has anyone figured out how to use a single button to get to the homescreen?
