Root Question on different roms

OK I'M pretty computer literate and I have been thinking about flashing to a better rom, but I want to know if any of these roms increase browsing speed?

You can't speed-up the browser speed, which is very unfortunate giving the fact that the Ascend runs of 1x.

They will make your phone perform better but browsing is more dependant on your connection, whether data or wifi.

I have personally and thoroughly tested the big 3, dolphin, skyfire and opera.
Opera is fastest but gets grainy on pics. Dolphin is good too. Skyfire was great untilled they made video a pay feature.

Skyfire was WAY too Facebook centric for me. Dolphin HD is great, good interface, gesture based browsing, and auto cache clear are all feature I really like. I also pity Metro users with only 1X, at least Cricket has 3G.

Skyfire has only two or three things for Facebook and I never found them obtrusive.
